Middle School (6 - 8)

About Middle School

NCC’s Middle School faculty purposefully engages, supports, and guides during this crucial transitionary period in a student’s life. Small class size, structure and discipline help students grow into mature young adults with strong personal character, confidence, and intellect. NCC’s academic program provides students with challenging, lively, hands-on experience which requires the meaningful application of content and skill in each subject area across the curriculum. Our students gain strong 21st-century skills which benefit them not only in secondary school, but also at university and in their chosen careers.

NCC Middle School students are given the unique opportunity to gain an enhanced perspective on global issues as well as broadened cross-cultural awareness through interaction with NCC’s global student body. Our students can interact on campus with planned or spontaneous cultural activities.

NCC Middle School students participate in weekly chapel and Biblical principles are integrated into daily lessons. Students are engaged in an active discovery of who God is and what His purpose is for their lives.

Christian Deeper Learning

Before students can learn well, they need to know they are seen, known and loved. Our Christian Deeper Learning vision at NCC speaks to this: We want all of our classrooms to be places where students understand at a heart level that they matter to God and that He has created them to do good work; that they are seen, known and loved by Him and by teachers who reflect His love; with these truths in mind, students are motivated to engage more authentically and more joyfully in the whole learning process because they believe their work matters and that they matter to the NCC community and even more, to God.
