NCC has an immediate opening in our Facilities Department for a Maintenance and Facilities Staff member
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain buildings and related systems in reasonable condition and engaging in preventative maintenance.
Maintain grounds in all seasons so that they provide both serviceability and a pleasing atmosphere to anyone using or viewing the campus.
Maintain all equipment/vehicles in working order, and engaging in preventative maintenance as well.
Assisting with the safe setup and take down of required facilities and equipment for special events as well as ongoing programs.
Assisting with the lagoon and related pumping systems and water systems to the standards of the pertinent government agencies. Hold an Operator In Training Certification to achieve this responsibility.
- Communicate with students, faculty, staff, visitors and other personnel in a courteous manner.
- Assist faculty and staff in solving problems
Monitoring / Reporting
- Handle chemicals according to the workplace hazard information system (WHMIS).
- Report any mechanical failures or hazardous conditions.
- Report all accidents and incidents.
- As needed, identify and justify new tools, equipment and services that may be needed.
Budget / Record Keeping
- Operate within approved budget
- Track and maintain maintenance requests
Job Requirements Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of related work experience.
- must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to multitask, be flexible and work well with people.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, be exposed to heights and confined spaces.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, show initiative, be proactive and prioritize work.
Terms of Employment
Sample Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 - 4:00, 30 minutes for lunch. Occasional weekend, holiday work will be required.
Must be able to be on-call, work flexible hours/days which may include weekends and holidays. All overtime will require prior written approval.

Girls Residence Assistant
We are seeking a Girls’ Residence Assistant to join our residence team at NCC! You will assist in the mentoring and supervision of the young men and women attending our high school, working closely with the Girls’ Residence Team to build a culture of safety, discipline, and fun on dorm. The position is a live-in position which includes room and board, and involves evening and weekend hours.
Work closely with the Girls’ Residence Team
Supervise and interact with youth in a safe and compassionate manner.
Run creative activities to build relationship and culture on dorm.
Engage in a positive and nurturing environment for youth, including mentorship, discipline, and discipleship for the students in your care.
Help foster a culture of care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the students.
Week 1 - Mon - Wed 22.5 hours
Week 2 - Mon - Wed 22.5 hours AND Saturday/Sunday 14 hours for a total of 36.5 hours
Ideally, previous experience working in a student residence, youth work, youth ministry, or other related fields
Passionate about working with youth in a Christian environment
Ability to build rapport with students and their parents
Full G Driver’s License

School Purpose/Van/Bus Driver
NCC has an immediate opening for a school purpose van driver for our daily to/from school routes. Routes are done in brand new 14 passenger Ford Transit Vans.
Hours vary from 6 - 8:30 AM and 2:30 - 4:45 PM, 5 days a week. There are options to pickup additional charters when available.
It is preferred for applicants to hold a B licence but an E licence is acceptable.
